The Leo Full Moon on January 25, 2024 at 9:54 am PST and 12:54 pm EST. Look up into the night sky the day before or the night after the full moon and observe the beauty of the sky and Moon light. This Full Moon is at (5) five degrees and (14) fourteen minutes of Leo. January has brought the Pacific Northwest some cold days and nights. December was the warmest ever recorded here in the Seattle area.

Generally Full Moon’s are a time of releasing. Take inventory, release gently and easily with harm to none. I’m cleaning up another part of my office over the next week or so. Doing a section or two at a time during the Full Moon phase, sure feel good, recycling the paper and passing along things that others can use.

Astrological Highlights of the Leo Full Moon 2024

General Observations

• Chart ruler – Mars (energy, forward movement, breath if it feels chaotic)
• Full Moon in Leo is ruled by the Sun in Aquarius
• Mars Out of Bounds – Higher levels of energy, chaos, slow down
• Uranus Stations Direct on January 27th. All the planets will be in forward motions for the next two months. Full steam ahead.
• Chart Shape Locomotive (Venus lead planet and Moon is the caboose
• Three of the Asteroid goddesses are participating in a grand mutable cross. I anticipate issues about woman needing attention and front and center.

Working Together, Flow and Cooperation – Grand Earth Trine

This ‘Grand Earth Trine’ potentially offers: stability, easier to make changes, feeling more energetic, ability to speak our truth and healthier communication overall. Uranus in Taurus tine Mars-Mercury in Capricorn trine Juno/Virgo.

Trine’s are 120 Degrees apart from each other. A grand trine is a triangle shape configuration of at least three planets forming a triangle.

Two Minor Grand Trines

The first Minor Grand Trine has the planets Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus interacting together. Jupiter and Venus are both benefic planets (favorable) and Saturn is one of the malefic planets (challenge). Saturn offers discipline and structure to accomplish our desires and goals. I call on the cooperative dance these planets are involved in to be present for me and the world at this time. This energy is already working in my life. Jupiter in Taurus Sextile Saturn in Pisces Sextile Venus in Capricorn. Jupiter Trine Venus

Sextiles are 60 degrees apart from each other. A Minor Grand Trine is made up of sextiles and trines that connect to each other.

The second Minor Grand Trine has two of the outer planets Pluto (underworld) and Neptune (vision) with an asteroid goddess Pallas Athena. Pluto moved into Aquarius on January 20th, shifting the energy from Capricorn. It’s time for a new vision that is helpful and useful to humanity, the planet, plants and animals. Pluto in Aquarius sextile ASC in Aries conjunct Neptune in Pisces sectile Pallas in Scorpio. Ascendant trine Pallas.

A minor grand trine is made up of 3 planets, each being sextile to one and that one to the third one . A sextile is 60 degrees of separation and the first planet being 120 degrees away from the third planet. All of them connecting to each other.

Between the Grand Earth Trine and the two Minor Grand Trines, eight of the ten planets or luminaries (Sun – Pluto) are participating. These planets are working in cooperation with each other. This indicates a possibility of Cooperation at this time.

Grand Mutable Cross – Fine Tune, Adjustments and Change

This Grand Mutable Cross has one planet Neptune and three asteroid goddess interacting. Each of these points are about 90 degrees apart from each other. Evaluate and make changes as necessary to the following: Oceans, rivers, lakes, water wells, drinking water, hearth and home, growing and harvesting food, partnerships of all kinds. Vesta in Gemini, Juno in Virgo, Ceres in Sagittarius, and Neptune in Pisces.

Cardinal T-Square – Change

The Cardinal T-Square involves: Chiron conjunct The North Node in Aries, square Mars conjunct Mercury in Capricorn, squared South Node in Libra (squares are 90° apart). Mars and Mercury are in the “bending’s” with the nodes. The bending’s are a required adjustment.

The winds are favorable and rapidly moving us along our path. This T-Square request healthier communication with self and others. The caution: pause and think before you act or speak. Review the research and all information is correct.

Fixed T-Square – Adjustments

A second T-square in Fixed signs. Usually the Fixed sign don’t make changes easily. This T-square engages the Luminaries of the Full Moon (Sun in Aquarius and Moon in Leo) square Jupiter in Taurus. Anchor in to your heart space, breath and you can make the changes.

Lunar Gestation Phase (Pessin)

Think back to July of 2022, this began this Lunar Gestation Phase. What did you put into action? Now, at the Full Phase, do you continue on or let it go? I know for myself I’m working on a project I started in July of 2022. Feels good to see the progress I have made. The project requires attention from time to time.
