The Astrology Highlights August 2025. I’m enjoying the wildflowers as they bloom and grow. Summer is going so fast. I’ve been working in the garden, stacking the fire wood for winter, power washing my deck and preparing it for a new coat of water seal. My communicty yard sale is done for the year. Moving through my list of things to accomplish this summer. It will soon be fall and time to move onto the fall projects. The days are beginning to get shorter and shorter.
Last month, July, there were several planets stationing retrograde and direct, keeping us all on our toes so to speak. A bit of a turbulence. This month looks to be calmer as next month September, we will move into eclipse season.
August 1st 12:00 am PDT
As we enter the month of August, the Moon is in Scorpio at six degrees and forty three minutes. A Scorpio Moon energy presides over the month of August. Possibly deep emotions rising to the surface and or wanting to connect on a deep emotional level, some may try and hold back the emotions that are arising. This would be a good time to process and work on any deep traumatic emotional wounds. The Moon Phase is in the Crescent Phase, a crisis in consciousness, another indication, a time to start processing and healing.
The Ascendant (look to what would be 9’oclock, 1st house doorway) is at thirteen degrees of Taurus and twenty three minutes. A time to review our values and beliefs. Both Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs. So, be patient with yourself and others as it may take some time to do your inner work this month. Go at your own pace.
The Midheaven (Top of the chart, 10th house doorway) is at twenty one degrees of Capricorn and six minutes. How do we want to be seen? Is it time to update our skills, do you enjoy the work that you are doing? Am I making a difference in the world?

When a planet is out of bounds it is acting on it’s own. Out of the bounds of the Sun. Moon OOB may see people are emationally reacting in different ways than they usually do. Have patience with yourself and others during these days.
