We start the month off with Mercury Stationing Retrograde on April 1st. NO! this is not an April Fools’ trick. Mercury SR (stations retrograde) at 27 degrees and 13 minutes of Aries at 3:15 pm PDT and 6:15 pm EDT. Then the Mercury SD (stationing direct) will be on April 25th at 15 degrees and 59′ of Aries.

Mercury begins to slow down before the retrograde phase, this is called the Shadow Phase. The shadow phase of Mercury Retrograde last about two weeks before the retrograde and two weeks after Mercury SD (stations Direct). This shadow phase of Mercury began on March 19th (Spring Equinox) and lasts until May 13th.

Since Mercury begins to slow down, I suggest we do the same. Put in more time for yourself, work, and all the day to day tasks you have. Always, read and re-read contracts, e-mails, and travel arrangements at this time. Allow a bit more time while driving, confirm and re-confirm appointments, and travel plans. Mercury retrograde is a great time to complete things you have been putting off for another day. Also, research now can bring good results now.

Also, April brings a Total Solar eclipse, traveling across North America. This eclipse is also called “The Great American Eclipse”, the last one was October 14, 2023. The path begins in the pacific ocean traveling North East across North America. Traveling across Mexico and thirteen states to exit North East Canada. This is the second eclipse in the first pair of eclipses for 2024. Most of North America will be able to see the eclipse to some extent, Here in the Seattle area we will see about 20%. Of course, the best views will be close to the eclipse path.

Mercury Stationing Retrograde – April 1st

Mercury SR (stations retrograde) 27° Aries 13’ Stop! Take a deep breathe. This is not an April Fool’s Trick. 3:14 pm PDT and 6:14 pm EDT. Mercury retrograde is all about “re” re-doing, re-working, re-thinking, re-evaluating, you get the picture.

• Mercury Retrograde: April 1 – April 25 – 27° Aries 13’ Leave extra time and space for all the information and or delays that can pop up now. Communication may take up more time than you plan. You may hear from friends or loved ones you haven’t heard from in a long time.
• Mercury Shadow Phase begins March 19, 2024 15° Aries 59’ – May 13 27° Aries 13’ Mercury slows down and I plan to slow down too. Allow time and space to process, take time out and do things in a timely manner, not a rush.

• 3       Venus Conjunct Neptune 28° Pisces 00’ 9:10 am EDT and 6:10 am PDT Dreams and possibilities of a new relationship or improving on relationships you are currently in. Dream, visualize, and manifest your desires.
• 4/5    Venus enters Aries: 4th – 9 pm PDT, 5th – 12:00 am EDT Venus in Aries is a bit uncomfortable. Venus is more laid back. This energy is about self love. Giving us an opportunity to practice this energy.
• 6       Venus 01° Aries 56′ sextile Pluto 01° Aquarius 56′ 10:46 am PDT, 1:46 pm EDT Deepening of love, loving yourself and others.

Total Solar Eclipse – Aries New Moon – April 8

The Eclipse path travels through the following States: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

• Aries New Moon – Total Solar Eclipse 19° Aries 24’ 11:21 am PDT and 2:21 pm EDT
• Sun & Moon conjunct Chiron Exact pm the New Moon Eclipse. So, it is possible this eclipse will bring up emotions wounds and the opportunities for healing to occur rapidly or even spontaneously. You may also be called to step up and teach what you know or find a teacher for yourself. Through teaching or finding a teacher you can heal or be healed.
• Remember New Moon’s are a time to ask for your dreams and desires. Write them down or make a vision board.

Grand Cardinal Cross – April 8th

For Seattle there is a Cardinal Grand Cross. If you are in other locations you will have a Cardinal T-Square. The Cardinal energy is representative of starting and or initiating something. So, what are you wanting to start? This energy could assist you in moving forward with your plans on some level.

You may feel like you are being pulled in all directions. Take time our, breathe, meditate, take a walk, or a long hot bath. Take your time to work through this energy.

• North Node, Sun, Moon, Chiron, Eris, and Mercury. A Big Conjunction (stellium) in Aries. Hygeia (health), Venus, North Node, Sun, Chiron, Eris, and Mercury all in the sign of Aries. That is a lot of Aries energy for sure. Key words I like for Aries are: Adventurous, Energetic, Courageous, Enthusiastic, and Pioneering. Use these words for yourself or find others that you like.
• South Node in Libra – Relationships from the past, are your relationships in balance for you and those involved
• ASC (Ascendant), POF (Part of Fortune), POS (Part of Spirit) in Cancer. This speaks to me about self care, nurturing yourself and others.
• DSC (Descendant)& Ceres in Capricorn – what are you growing, harvesting and nurturing in your life?

Mars Saturn conjunction – April 9 – 15

• 10     Mars conjunct Saturn 14° Pisces 40’ 1:36 pm PDT and 4:36 pm EDT. Mars wants to move and Saturn wants to contain. I often refer to this energy as the gas pedal and the brake. These planets working together can be strategic pioneering.
• 11     Sun conjunct Mercury, “Cazimi”, (In the Heart of the Sun) 22° Aries 32’ 4:03 pm PDT and 7:03 pm EDT. Insight and wisdom come today. Pay attention, write them down. The information can be very useful for you.
• 12-16  Moon OOB – Emotions can be on a roller coaster now. Be patient with yourself and others. Being aware of this energy will help you through these few days.
• 15     Mercury conjunct Chiron 19° Aries 48’ 8:23 am PDT and 11: 23 am EDT. Communication has the potential to heal or wound. Think before you speak or take a deep breath first.

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus – April 16 – 21

• 19     Sun enters Taurus 7:00 am PDT and 10:00 am EDT – orange. The Sun is moving into an earth sign. Things will slow down a bit now and be more grounded.
•          Mars 21° Pisces 46’ sextile Uranus 21° Taurus 26’ 4:56 pm PDT and 7:56 pm EDT – light blue Mars and Uranus are cooperating with each other. Moving forward to bring about change.
• 20     Jupiter conjunct Uranus in 21 Taurus 49’ 7:27 pm PDT and 10:27 pm EDT- light green Big change. Most likely the last thing you can think of changes.
  • Chiron Return for the USA – New ways of healing coming in, new ways and opportunities to teach.
  • Moon opposite Neptune – are these my emotions? or are they the collective? Is this a dream or is this real?
• 21     Venus conjunct Chiron in 20° Aries 09’ 4:49 am PDT and 7:49 am EDT – purple an opportunity to heal some wounds within yourself and with others.
•          Sun 02° Taurus 04’ square Pluto 02° Aquarius 04’ 10:02 am PDT and 1:02 pm EDT – red Ego and power, use your power wisely and tame your ego if it is out of sync.

Scorpio Full Moon 2024 – April 23

• Moon 04° Scorpio 17’ 4:49 pm PDT, 7:49 pm EDT and Sun 04° Taurus 17’. My values and our values. They are in each others traditional house too. Taurus naturally rules the second house and Scorpio naturally rules the 8th house. Review beliefs you have. Do you believe this or was it taught to you by your parents, teachers, or community? •          Moon in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus 3:26 am PDT and 6:26 am EDT Be patient, allow the unexpected emotions to come up. Work through them gently. Get emotional support if you need it. A hug from a good friend.
•          Moon in Scorpio opposite Jupiter in Taurus 4:55 am PDT and 7:55 am EDT Continue to work through your emotions. Be gentle with yourself and others now. Remember you can’t take back what you say.
• 26 – May 1 Moon OOB – Emotions run high now.

Venus Square Pluto – April 28 – 30

• 28/29  Mars conjunct Neptune in 28° Pisces 52’ 28 – 9:31 pm PDT and 29 – 12:31 am EDT is it a mirage or is it real. Take your time to be sure. Also, dream big now. You may manifest something easily now.
• 29     Venus enters Taurus 4:31 am PDT and 7:31 am EDT Venus slides into one of her ruling signs. She is very happy here. Relationship issues may start working themselves out now.
• 30     Mars enters Aries 8:33 am PDT and 11:33 am EDT This is Mars’ sign and will be happy. Mars wants to get moving.
• 30/5-1 Venus 02° Taurus 06’ squares Pluto 02° Aquarius 06’ 30 9:30 pm PDT and 5/1 12:30 am EDT What is transforming? A love relationship perhaps. Take it to the next level or slow it down?
