The Virgo Full Moon 2024 brings the Lunar New Year celebration to an end. The Full moon is on Saturday, February 24rd at 4:30 am PST and 7:30 am EST. There is an intense focus of planetary energy in the signs of Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries. These signs are represented by each of the four elements, earth, air, water, and fire. A nice well rounded blend of all the elements. These elements represent Earth – material , Air – mental, Water – feeling, and Fire – identity. Back to the focused energy, the planets are essentially in four of the twelve astrological signs. Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are considered the transpersonal and collective signs, focusing on evolution and bringing the talents and gifts that we have to the world stage.
The Moon in Virgo is the handle of the chart. Juno the relationship asteroid is a housemate. Hanging out but not too close. Is your mind working on overdrive? Evaluating or analyzing, or being too critical. Take in the information and process it on your time. Also, the North Node (Destiny) and Chiron (Healer/Teacher) are in Aries, the energy begins again. The North Node and Chiron had an exact conjunction on February 19th starting a new cycle or new healing and teaching journey.
Sun Ingresses into Pisces – Shift in energy
The Sun moved into the sign of Pisces on February 18th. Shifting a part of the energy to a mutable water sign. That was very soothing to my soul. The electric feel of the Aquarius energy was a bit much at times. I am working on adjusting to the Aquarius energy a bit at a time. My own astrological chart lacks air until I add in the Asteroids. So much change is happening from day to day. Remember to breathe, stretch, rest, and take a break or time out to re-center yourself. Oh, and drink plenty of water too.
Virgo – Mutable Earth – Ruled by Mercury
Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury. and is about communication, information, and thinking. The energy of Virgo: analyses, Health, Perfection, and at times critical. Mutable is a time of finishing up and moving on to the next item on the list, season, or a new beginning. Full Moon’s are an ending, finishing up, releasing, or adjustment, in preparation to move forward with improvement, start something new, or bring to a close what you are working on. The Sun and Moon are opposite each other at the time of the Full Moon. Sun represents the ego and the Moon represents emotions. If you get a chance look up in the night sky and take in the beauty of the Full Moon.
